Doug Haynes, author of the Success Principles

DoughA native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Doug Haynes was born in 1973. He graduated from the university in 1997, and he eventually started to build his business. Doug is an entrepreneur, author, the founder of The Business Networking Group, and the author of ‘The Success Principles. His business background includes a two-decade career in sales and marketing with Amway, Microsoft, AT&T Wireless, Cellular Innovations, and Vemma.

The boards he is sitting on include Body & Soul International, Xconsult, The Business Networking Group, and many others. Haynes has also become a member of the Economic Club of Dallas, a member of the National Association of Realtors, and on the boards of the National Business Alliance and the Chamber of Commerce.

Others include the International Association of Business Coaches and the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, the marketing committee at the American Marketing Association, and the international committee of the Rotary Club

Doug Haynes started working with Amway as a sales representative when he was only 19 years old. He continued working for them for two decades before being able to leave the company when he had already made enough money for himself. Haynes previously founded Vemma Nutrition Company, a subsidiary of the Vemma conglomerate that included the Vemma family of energy drinks and vitality supplements. He also helped mentor and develop the corporate identity for Verve Coffee Roasters, LLC, which his wife founded in 2011. Haynes has also served as co-CEO of Traffic Monsoon Inc.Companies he has worked with include Amazon.com, Microsoft, Dell, The Body Shop, and the National Association of Realtors. Haynes also travels to Dubai, Malaysia, and Thailand to conduct talks with business executives.

His Philanthropic endeavors

Doug Haynes is best known for his work with the children’s charity Halo Kids International which provides educational and health-related assistance for underprivileged children in Ethiopia, India, and Kenya. Haynes has also made other charitable donations, such as the Boys & Girls Club of America, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
