Alliance Defending Freedom – Their Role in Advancing Hate

Alliance Defending Freedom, a non-profit organization, is one of the most prolific groups in the United States who are advancing hate. The group deploys a carefully calculated strategy that exploits constitutionally designated freedoms. This strategy has proven successful for them and has given the organization a powerful reputation as a one-person band with a contract with the U.S.

Who Are We?

Alliance Defending Freedom was founded in 1994 as Alliance Defense Fund, by a coalition of religious persecution and discrimination advocates. Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is an American conservative Christian legal advocacy organization that defends religious freedom, free speech, and traditional values. While they claim to promote these principles, critics argue that ADF’s actions and initiatives have been instrumental in advancing hate and discrimination against marginalized groups.

  1. Opposition to LGBTQ+ Rights

ADF has been at the forefront of legal battles against LGBTQ+ rights, including same-sex marriage, anti-discrimination laws, and adoption rights for same-sex couples. They have filed lawsuits in various states to overturn laws that protect LGBTQ+ individuals from discrimination, using religious freedom as a shield for their discriminatory actions.
