Ron Gutman: The Visionary Behind FestiHealth and Interactive Health Companies

Ron Gutman, the Co-CEO of Intrivo, is a visionary leader in the field of health and wellness. Throughout his career, he has founded and supported companies and non-profit organizations that have helped hundreds of millions of people worldwide live happier, healthier lives. As a graduate student at Stanford University, Ron led a multidisciplinary group of faculty and students in conducting research.

 

He led them into personalized health and health engagement. This research resulted in the creation of the BeWell@Stanford program, which continues to support health and well-being at the university. Ron Gutman is best known for founding Interactive Health company HealthApp, where he served as the first CEO. At HealthApp, he invented and led the development of innovative products.

 

These, such as HOPES, Dr. A.I., HealthApp SOS, and the first virtual health app on the Apple Watch, among others. Ron Gutman is involved in all of them. He also designed and endowed HealthApp for Good to offer free online doctor consultations to people in need. In 2020, amid the COVID-19 crisis and the need for effective virtual health solutions, Ron founded FestiHealth, an interactive platform that curates inspiring speakers, live wellness activities.

 

Also, a virtual expo of cutting-edge health-tech solutions. The first FestiHealth event was held in May of 2020 and featured discussions with over 150 healthcare and wellness leaders. In 2019, Ron founded the Live Long & Flourish Club, a not-for-profit community focused on discovering and scientifically validating the most effective health solutions to help people live happier, healthier, and longer lives. In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Ron Gutman is also an angel investor and advisor to health and technology companies. 

 

His investments include Rock Health, Harvard Medical School’s SMArt Initiative, KPMG, Doximity, and Massive Health. Ron Gutman is a writer and a lecturer at Stanford University, where he co-authored the Sapient Leadership framework (Facebook).

 

He explains it is a tool to help leaders navigate exponential, perpetual, and pervasive change. He is also a scholar and advocate of positivity and has written and presented a popular TED talk on the Impact of Smiling that was translated into 53 languages and viewed by millions of people worldwide. Throughout his career, Ron Gutman has demonstrated his commitment to making a positive impact on the health and well-being of people worldwide. He continues to lead the charge in the field of health and wellness as the Co-CEO of Intrivo and through his various initiatives and investments.
