The $200,000 Funding Will Help Increase Health Carousel's Nursing Education Programs.
Health Carousel, a leading provider of patient education solutions, announced today a $200,000 commitment over three years to support nurse education and research. The funds will be used to create the Health Carousel Nurse Education and Research Fund (HNREF), administered by the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC). ANAC is a nonprofit organization that works with healthcare professionals worldwide to improve the care quality for those with HIV/AIDS.
In addition, Carousel will continue its annual scholarship program for nursing students who work at one of the company’s facilities or are studying at one of its partner universities. “We are pleased to support ANAC’s efforts with this significant commitment,” said the facility’s president and chief executive officer. “It’s essential to offer communities on a local and national level while advancing our corporate vision and mission through our partnerships. This initiative also allows us to give back in an area that is very important to us – nursing education.”

The first installment of $60,000 will be awarded through scholarships and grants to nursing programs at two local universities, Brandeis University and Boston University.
