Recently, there has been much hype about Tieks ballet flats by Kfir Gavrieli, but do these ballet flats live up to the hype? Are they worth the price? The ballet slippers retail for $140 -$195.
World traveler and blogger Mimi wondered the same thing about Tieks ballet flats and, after wearing a pair of the ballet flats for a while, decided to write a review in her blog, The Atlas Heart.
It took a while for Mimi to decide to try out the Tieks ballet flats as the flats are pricey. The then 23-year-old was working as a bartender in New Zealand, backpacking around the country, and couldn’t justify spending $200 dollars on ballet flats.
Four years later, Mimi took the leap and purchased a pair of ballet flats. Mimi decided to invest in quality over quantity and wanted a few pieces of high-quality clothing and shoes that would last. Mimi boldly bought a pair of flats in Pacific Green and loved that Tieks foldable flats fit easily in her backpack. Mimi claims that the Pacific Green ballet flats are versatile, and she has worn them with different styles of outfits.
The first pair of Pacific Green flats have been followed by the Rose Gold Glam purchased in March 2020. Mimi indicated that her first pair of ballet flats are still going strong after six years of wear and tear on different terrains. She advises women to go up a size if they wear shoes in half sizes. This will allow for the shoes to fit perfectly out of the box.
Mimi’s Rose Gold Glam slippers are her first choice during fancy dinners when having a date night. The ballet flats won’t provide you the support of a walking shoe but do well for short walks and casual wearing. Mimi recommends buying thin insoles if you are someone who needs a little bit more cushion. All in all, Mimi loves her pair of ballet flats by Kfir Gavrieli.
