Tom Keane is a former corporate vice president at Microsoft who played a significant role in developing and growing Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform. He joined Microsoft in 2001 and held various leadership positions across the company, including as the general manager of the Global Foundation Services division, which was responsible for building and operating Microsoft’s data centers and cloud infrastructure.
As the corporate vice president of Azure Global from Microsoft, he led the development and growth of Azure from a nascent cloud offering to one of the leading cloud computing platforms in the world. Under Tom Keane´s leadership, Azure expanded its global footprint to more than 60 regions.
